Kuranda Scenic Railway

The Kuranda Scenic Railway operates from Cairns to Kuranda and return, with the journey taking around 2 hours, with a stop at 'Freshwater' station for tour buses, and one at Barron Falls to observe the waterfall. A pair of 1720 class locomotives haul each train, with two operating in each direction per day.
