I have finally gotten around to uploading my photos from my recent week long trip to South Australia - it was the reason for the two weeks when no new photos appeared!
What did I get up to?
- I stayed at Mt Lofty station to see the trains go past, plus a side trip to Dry Creek to see some double stack trains.
- Visited the National Railway Museum at Port Adelaide.
- Had a trip or two on the TransAdelaide suburban network.
- Discovered how weird a bus on a concrete track is.
- Went for a ride on Steamranger between Goolwa and Victor Harbor, and visited their Mt Barker depot.
- Had a quick look at the Victor Harbor horse tramway.
- Checked out the stored Murraylander cars in the yard at Tailem Bend.
- Swung past Dimboola for a look at the J class.
Plus when I got back to Victoria I spent a day around Geelong not seeing much, followed by a day where I saw three broad gauge freights (the Waurn Ponds cement, an El Zorro grain, and the Apex train to Brookyn).
