Comeng 574M with original Comeng - LHB bogies on the left, 570M with Alstom bogies on the right

Bogie cracks were discovered back on the disc braked Comeng train fleet in 2013, with Alstom winning a contract to supply replacement bogies in 2014. However it took until 2016 for the first train to be fitted.
