Burnley resignalling rail replacement buses

During 2017 buses replaced Burnley Group trains between Parliament and Camberwell, and Richmond and Darling stations due to signalling works at Burnley, as part of the Richmond to Camberwell Signalling Upgrade Project.
Essendon rail replacement buses

Buses replaced Craigieburn line trains throughout 2018, to allow work to be completed on the Buckley Street level crossing removal project. Trains terminated at Essendon station, connecting with buses towards the city.
Blackburn Road level crossing removal replacement buses

Buses replaced Belgrave and Lilydale line trains throughout 2016 and 2017, to allow work to be completed on the Blackburn Road level crossing removal project. Trains terminated at Blackburn platform 2, with a temporary bridge delivering passengers to the replacement buses.

HCMT set 6 transfer, September 2019

On the morning of 30 September 2019 the sixth High Capacity Metro Train set was transferred from the Downer facility at Newport Workshops to the future HCMT depot at Pakenham East. Southern Shorthaul Railroad ran the transfer, with S312 and T385 in the lead, followed by a mix of SSR flat wagons loaded with empty spoil containers, then by P18, P17, generator van BVDY51, and finally the HCMT set. The emergency brake was operational onboard the new train, but the ECP service brake was not, hence additional braking wagons were required to accompany the movement.
V/Line - standard gauge workshops and shunting
