Shuttle buses operate between Lara station and Avalon Airport to transport patrons to the Avalon Airshow. This year Kastoria, Sita and Mitchell Transit supplied the buses.

The most boring airshow for V/Line ever: VLocities ran the majority of services. Only one hauled push-pull set ran, with a pair of N classes it only ran one return trip on Saturday and one return trip on Sunday.

V/Line again ran special trains from Melbourne and Geelong to Lara. Push pull N and P classes with 8 carriages featured, as well as 7 car N sets

Every two years the Avalon Airshow is held outside Lara, with V/Line operating special trains between Melbourne, Geelong and Lara. Push-pull N classes on 8 car trains feature heavily.
