SCT Logistics - Melbourne/Brisbane services

SCT Logistics started their Melbourne-Brisbane service in 2010 with SCT vans attached to Aurizon BM7/MB7 services. They started operating their own services between Melbourne and Barnawartha (outside Wodonga) in 2016, these services being extended through to Brisbane in 2017.

SCT Logistics - Altona depot and light engine moves

SCT Logistics got their start running east-west freight trains between Melbourne and Perth via Adelaide, running out of a depot at North Dynon. They now operate trains out of a much larger depot at Altona, running west to Perth as well as north to Brisbane.

In 2021 SCT Logistics commenced transporting Bluescope Steel products on the East-West corridor, after winning a 10 year joint contract with Qube Logistics from Pacific National in 2020.
SCT Logistics - Dooen freight

SCT Logistics commenced running their Melbourne-Dooen freight service in 2015, which unlike their other trains operates to the Port of Melbourne and only carries container wagons - it doesn't stop at their Altona depot and conveys no boxvans.
SCT Logistics - Melbourne/Perth services

SCT Logistics started their Melbourne-Perth rail service in 1995, with V/Line followed by Freight Australia providing hook and pull services until they acquired their own locomotives in 2007.
SCT derailment at Lara, November 2007

On 2 November 2007 the SCT train suffered a minor derailment between Corio and Lara, with the bogie at one end of a ABFX louvered van needing to be jacked up.
