On the corner of St George's Road and Miller Street it was once the main workshops of the M&MTB. Nowdays it seems to be just a dumping ground for W class trams.

Apparently a number of B2 class trams have now been allocated to Preston Workshops, with tram drivers being ferried in from elsewhere
