VICERS vigilance control system

In 2006 the installation of the Vigilance, Control and Event Recording System (VICERS) commenced on all suburban electric trains in Melbourne. Originally due to be completed by 2010, it took until 2012 for the system to finally be tested and commissioned.

With 'not in service' signs in the doors, it is being used to test the new VICERS vigilance control system
