VLDX louvre vans

Built as the VHX they were a prototype of the VSX/VLEX. The main difference was the lack of horizontal stiffening ribs along the sides, and the doors opened to only one side.

VOHX open wagons

ELX wagons used for log traffic, initially only the doors were removed, later on the centre side section was removed and stanchions added

VPFX flour wagons

Also coded VPLX (unknown reason) or VZGX for locomotive sand

VQAW container flats

'3 pack' articulated container wagons

VQWW container flat

VQWW 1 until it went to National Rail and was recoded to RQVY, Pacific National ended up with it and it formed part of the wagons sold when they were forced to by the ACCC. QR ended up with it.

VZMA ballast hoppers

The old school Victorian Railways bogie ballast hopper. Originally coded NN, the original style has been phased out. There are 3 styles still in service - 1950s build with 1960 side extensions (with side doors or without) and those with 1980s rebuilt bodies. All require the operation of a wheel on the side to discharge ballast

WGBY grain hoppers

Owned by AWB and new in 2009, they are usually seen on El Zorro hauled trains. Coupled in pairs with a drawbar between them, the WGSY are the single wagon version

WGSY grain hoppers

Owned by AWB usually seen on El Zorro hauled trains, they are a single unit version of the WGBY wagon to be used on the broad gauge

ZDXF concrete sleeper flats

ZDXF wagons used by El Zorro to carry concrete sleepers on broad gauge, converted from a variety of flat wagons and cut down open wagons.

ZF/VVDY guards vans

ZF guards vans received the VVDY code in the early 1980s

ZHBF grain hoppers

Ex-NSW NGMA grain hopper, rebuilt by SSR Bendigo for El Zorro
