X'Trapolis transfer, 30 June 2020

On 30 June 2020 SSR locomotives P17 and P18 with the usual power van BVDY52 and transition wagon BQHX 2447 led X'Trapolis train 26M-2006T-227M and 224M-1412T-223M from Alstom Ballarat to Newport Workshops after upgrade works. The train ran from Ballarat via the suburban lines and North Geelong, the locomotives having run around the consist at Melbourne Yard.
